Unveiled on 11/9/21 the all new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello opens a new chapter in the line up of Moto Guzzi Motorcycles. V100 signifies both the Anniversary of the historic brand but also gives a hint to the engine capacity in typical Moto Guzzi Style.
The V100 is hoping to redefine the sports tourer with a more sporty stance and a host of electronic goodies to combine the best of both sports bikes looks and touring bike practicality.
This bike features a liquid cooled 1042cc engine producing 115hp and 105Nm of torque. Retained is the 90 degree V twin transverse cylinder layout synonomous with the brand however the exhaust outlets have been moved to the side of the engine to make space for the radiator. The Engine also features a Double Overhead Cam (DOHC) for improved efficiency compared to the more traditional 2 valve push rod designs. This new design guarantees better performance and overall greater efficiency in order to provide maximum riding pleasure, fun and reliability.
One of the main new features of this bike is the introduction of active aerodynamics, the windscreen is adjustable from the bars but more uniquely, are two flaps on the front, these can be lifted to improve weather protection or lowered for that sporty naked look.
The design of the new bike acknowledges the brands history, there are many small details that have been adapted from the extensive archive of vehicles going back 100 years. The LED headlamps feature the Eagle daytime running light, now common across all current models but the headlamps are made from 2 separate rings are reminiscent of Stelvio and Norge models. The fuel tank, flared out over the cylinder heads and the vent on the side panel are other details uniquely Guzzi.
The model benefits from a new single sided swing arm, made possible by the shortening of the final drive both looks stunning and gives the bike a sporty ride.
