First revealed in Milan at the 2019 show, the RS 660 stole the headlines as a modern equivalent to the RS250 two-stroke and a step away from a litre sports bikes, to provide something as comfortable on a twisty “A” road as on track.
Weighing a 169kg, the 660’s parallel-twin engine is derived from the front two cylinders on the RSV4 1100 Factory but in this chassis, used as a stress member, it’s paired with an aluminium twin spar frame, before being finished in a set bang up to date but still V4-inspired fairings.
The headlamps are completely new and are fully LED incorporating a distinctive Daylight running light design and cornering headlights. Expect a TFT dash up front, too
Producing 100hp, the most ever achieved by bike in this class, Aprilia have also equipped the bike with a ride-by-wire throttle and a six-axis IMU – so incorporating all the features of Aprilias class leasing APRC system to get the best out of the bike for both track and road riding.
